The United States is in talks with Pakistani authorities on the harassment of its diplomats to make sure that the rules of the road are clear and it is absolutely understood by the Pakistani side what functions these individuals are involved in. Replying to questions during briefing here Tuesday, State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland said that US diplomats were clear and within the Vienna Convention with regard to their behaviour in Pakistan. She said Pakistan and the US have made some progress on some of these issues and they have to continue work on them as they do with other things.
