NUML organises summer art show

ISLAMABAD  - National University of Modern Languages (NUML) has organised colourful ‘Summer Art Show’ in its Islamabad campus. Rector NUML Maj Gen (Retd) Masood Hasan inaugurated the art show, which was organised by the students of English department while majority of the displayed paintings, sketches, calligraphies, drawings and art work to decorate the panoramic world of old civilisations, modern societies, nature, emotions, passions, aspirations and reality were made by the amateur student-artists.
The amateur artists included Aysha Rauf, Bilal Qureshi, Saba Shaheen, Rabia Qamar, Faizan Ahmed, Noshaba and Fariha and many others.
A wide range of paintings depicting the beautiful yard of Old Italian Houses, Old Egyptian Markets, Young Horses running on the sea shores, landscapes, blossoming flowers, and water falls, sketches of old wrinkled faces and different sides and mood of human faces, drawings in pastel and charcoal were great source of attraction for the students, faculty members and staff members.
The students    attempted to turn scorching heat and melting humidity atmosphere into pleasant while large number of people watched the painting and appreciated the efforts of the students.
