Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that government was effectively channelizing funds through Public Sector Development Programme for uniform uplift of various segment of the society.

He was talking to Parliamentarians who called on him separately in Islamabad on Friday afternoon.
The Prime Minister said that annual development plan had been prepared keeping in view the issues of the common man and provision of vital infrastructure in the country. He said that public representatives had been actively involved in all phases of development agenda of the government which is well being of the people.
The Prime Minister urged the Parliamentarians to personally monitor and supervise the development projects in their respective areas so that quality of work as well as their timely completion is ensured. He said that government would provide all necessary funds for the projects.
He said we have now set a tradition of serving the people by allocating record public funds for welfare projects.
The Parliamentarians apprised the Prime Minister about issues of people in their respective constituencies. They also briefed him about the progress on the ongoing development schemes in their respective areas.
