Now its teachers turn to get laptops

RAWALPINDI  - The Punjab government has decided to award laptops to educators of schools, colleges and universities, who have been enrolled in MPhil and PhD programmes across the province including Rawalpindi Division. Sources said that the district government have prepared list of over 650 male and female teachers of the division, enrolled in MPhil and PhD programmes and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif would award laptops in the first week of March.

A meeting regarding award of laptops to teachers was presided by DCO Saqib Zaffar the other day and list of 450 teachers of schools, colleges and universities of Rawalpindi district was prepared. Sources said 200 teachers from Attock, Chakwal and Jhelum would get laptops. 
Directorate of Colleges Rawalpindi Division, Director Prof Humayun Iqbal said CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif would award laptops to educators, acquiring high education, in the first week of March. Teachers said the Punjab government’s move in this regard was commendable.
