RAWALPINDI - Muslim Town, a densely populated area of Rawalpindi, is facing acute shortage of water as tube well of Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) has gone dysfunctional.
Sources said residents of Muslim Town have announced to stage a protest demonstration on Kurri Road and Benazir Bhutto Road (Murree Road) against scarcity of water in the area. They have also accused WASA of selling water tankers to the commercial organisations and making money, while the citizens are deprived of water facility.
