Arsalan Iftikhar case: SC rejects plea against Suddle Commission

Supreme Court Tuesday rejected plea of preventing Shoaib Suddle Commission from probing Dr. Arsalan Iftikhar case.

During the proceedings, Justice Khilji Arif Hussain remarked that judges also have their rights and asked for arguments to complete because Pakistan-Australia T20 match has been started.
Zahid Bukhari who is counsel of Malik Riaz argued that Shoaib Suddle has personal as well as family terms with Dr. Arsalan Iftikhar, that’s why he is not hopeful for the justice.
Bukhari asked SC to stop Suddle Commission till further order because it is the matter of transactions between two persons, so commission should not be formed.
During the proceedings, he said that investigations were not changed in Ali Musa Gilani and other cases.
The SC turned down the plea of Bukhari and adjourned the hearing till October 30.
