Pakistan serious about eliminating terrorism: Malik

Federal interior minister Rehman Malik has said that Pakistan was serious about eliminating the menace of terrorism, and as such also condemned all kinds of terrorism in the Country.

According to latest press release, while addressing a high-level chaired meeting, participated by federal and additional secretaries’ interior, DG-FIA and departmental representatives of various law enforcement agencies, the interior minister also reiterated Pakistan’s strong resolve to combat the menace of terrorism.
He said that safety of public lives and their assets was the primary priority and duty of the government, in which no laxity would be tolerated.
Fully lauding the excellent performance of Pak Army, FC and police in curbing, combating the menace of terrorism, he also exhorted law enforcers to remain equally vigilant in future as well, in order to foil all nefarious and evil designs of the enemy.
Rehman Malik also met and held talks with the head of All-India Bar Association delegation, Avaish Agarwal , who while lauding Pak-Indian visa accord invited the interior minister to visit India on behalf of Indian Punjab CM, Parkash Singh , which would help strengthening Pak-India relations.
