The monthly Corps Commanders' Conference chaired by Army Chief Gen Ashfaq Pervez Kayani agreed to extend all possible help to the Election Commission for the verification of voters list in Karachi and the election process.

According to the ISPR matters related to operational and professional issues of the Pak Army as well as the ongoing operations against the militancy were discussed in the Corps Commanders' Conference.
The meeting expressed satisfaction at the professional preparedness of the Pak Army and the resolve of the Pak Army.
The meeting also discussed Pak-US Defence Group's talks and the agreement with the ISAF forces.
According to sources also reviewed the security situation in the regiuon, particularly along the Pak-Afghan border and offer of talks by banned Tehreek Taliban to the government.
