ISLAMABAD - Federal Minister for Water and Power Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar has strongly rejected a BBC report of having said that militaries of both India and Pakistan were an obstacle to the resolution of Siachen dispute. In a statement on Sunday, he clarified that he never said anything in the interview having such connotation. ‘I have never said that Pakistan Army is a hurdle in the resolution of Siachen dispute. I opined that the resolution is in the interest of both the countries, and my statement has been quoted out of context’, he stated.
