RAWALPINDI  - The Child Protection and Welfare Bureau has taken 11 child beggars into custody here on Thursday.

According to detail the rescue team of child protection bureau took eleven s children into custody from different areas of Rawalpindi, who were part of professional beggars’ gang to provide them a education and health care services.
The children were picked up by the bureau from Murree Road, Saddar, Choor Chowk, Daewoo Stop, Pirwadhai Stop and Faizabad terminal.
Child Protection and Welfare Bureau is an autonomous body of Government of the Punjab mandated to protect and rehabilitate destitute & neglected children through provision of an environment that maximizes opportunities for childhood development and promotes access to education, health care and psychological well being.
