Gilani chairs meeting to review flood situation

e Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting on the flood situation and directed the National Disaster Management Authority to assess damages on priority. The Prime Minister was briefed about the current situation and the damages caused. He was also briefed about the relief activities undertaken on his special instructions. The Prime Minister was also briefed about the current level of water reservoirs and rivers due to heavy rains. PM expressed deep grief over the loss of precious lives. He directed the NDMA, Ministry of Health and authorities concerned to take immediate relief measures.
