ISLAMABAD - Police have arrested a total of 12 suspects during search operation in their respective areas, a police spokesman said.Following the directions of IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan, teams of Margalla, Shalimar,Bani Gala and Industrail Area  police stations have arrested headed by SDPO and Station House Officer conducted search in their respective areas.The search operation was conducted by these police stations in various localities including slum areas, Afghan habitats, under construction buildings, houses, hotel and a total of 12 suspects were arrested who could not produce any document for their identification. IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan and SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq have directed to expand this search operation in other areas of city and asked to ensure strict monitoring and vigilance of suspected elements. The purpose of starting search operation in various areas is to ensure foolproof security in the Capital, the IGP added.
