US ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter has lauded the reopening of NATO supply routes by Pakistan but added Washington’s concerns on Pak-Iran gas pipeline still persist. Speaking to reporters at Balochistan’s coastal city of Gaddani on Saturday, Munter said the whole world is praising Pakistan for its decision to unblock NATO supply. He said the US can help Pakistan to overcome its energy crisis. He said Pakistan is an important country for the United States and it wants to help Islamabad to address the energy and other issues. The US envoy visited the Gaddani jetty and ship-breaking yard. US Consul General William Martin was also present on this occasion.
