Security beefed up in federal capital amid terror threat

Heavy contingents of police along with FC and Rangers have been deployed in Islamabad.

The security has been beefed up in red zone of federal capital amid reports of terror attack. The Rawalpindi police have arrested 60 people from different areas of Islamabad in the wake of threat The interior minister Rehman Malik has issued directives to inspector general (IG) police Islamabad to put the security of red zone on high alert.
A heavy contingent of police along with FC and Rangers has been deployed on all entry and exit points of the city.
