All steps to address Balochistan deprivation, says Gilani

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has reiterated that the Federal Government would take all possible steps in addressing the sense of deprivation among the people of Balochistan.He made these remarks while talking to Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research, Mir Israrullah Zehri and Adviser on Interior Rehman Malik who met separately with Prime Minister at his Parliament House Chamber on Thursday.Zehri appreciated the Prime Minister’s recent visit to Balochistan during which he reassured the people of Balochistan that the Federal Government would take all possible steps to address their sense of deprivation.Talking to Mir Israrullah Zehri, Prime Minister said that thousands of jobs being offered to the Baloch youth by the Federal Government would make a real difference in their lives in particular and people of the province in general.On the proposal about solar tube wells in the province, Gilani said that government has already announced budget proposal for giving subsidy on installation of solar tube well pumps as a solution to irrigation problem. Meanwhile, Adviser on Interior Rehman Malik called on Prime Minister Gilani at his Parliament House Chamber and apprised him about the law and order situation in general and of Balochistan in particular. He also informed the Prime Minister about implementation of Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan Package.Gilani appreciated Rehman Malik’s efforts for bringing normalcy in Gilgit-Baltistan.
