Govt would provide incentives to overseas Pakistanis: Malik

Advisor on Interior Rehman Malik has said that the Government would provide incentives to overseas Pakistanis to take the remittances to thirty billion dollars. Talking to newsmen in Islamabad on Friday he urged overseas Pakistanis to send remittances back home through legal channels. He said that overseas Pakistanis have always served Pakistan in time of need. He said that these overseas Pakistanis are remitting huge foreign exchange. He added that they should be given the right to vote and said it was Shaheed Benazir Bhutto who talked about their right to vote for the first time. The Advisor said that the government is striving to reduce the difficulties of Overseas Pakistanis. The Advisor announced that five passports offices would be established in the United Kingdom to facilitate Pakistanis living there.
