ISLAMABAD – Two persons including a lawyer and his brother were killed as unidentified armed assailants opened fire at them here.

According to police, Advocate Ashraf Zameer, along with his brother Bakhtiar, was heading towards his home located in Kotli Sattian. They stopped at a shop in Shahzad Town Police Station’s jurisdiction, to purchase fruit for home when unknown gunmen appeared at the scene and sprayed bullets at the both, injuring them severely.
The attackers fled the scene after the incident, taking advantage of darkness. The injured were rushed to hospital but died on the way before getting any treatment. A case has been registered against unknown murderers and police has started search for them.
