Dysfunctional streetlights irk residents

ISLAMABAD - The streetlights in the federal capital have become dysfunctional, plunging several sectors into complete darkness.

The residents of the sectors F-6, G-6 and G-7 have more complaints than any other place in the city. They say that the out-of-order streetlights pose problems for them, especially for the mosque-goers who have to travel in complete darkness. The incidents of street crime, they say, have also increased in their areas. The residents have demanded of the CDA to repair the out of order streetlights on priority basis. They demanded to the concerning authorities to put the streetlights system in order.
