ISLAMABAD  – President National Youth Assembly (NYA) Hanan Ali Abbasi has said that guidance from international youth bodies to help expand an sustain NYA work.He said it is an honour for him and NYA that he has been nominated for the highest official youth award from 36 countries “Commonwealth Youth Award”.He is the 1st nominee from Pakistan for this credible Award. The award celebrates young people (aged 15-29) in the Commonwealth who are making a positive difference to the lives of others through development initiatives ranging from poverty alleviation to education and protection of the environment. Young people were nominated from more than 36 countries across the Commonwealth for the awards, which are run by the Commonwealth Secretariat’s Youth Affairs Division. Abbasi told APP that he will also receive a grant to advance his development work and guidance from CYP on how their work could be further expanded and sustained.
