Fazl announces to revive MMA on 18 sans JI

Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam Maulana Fazlure Rehman has announced to restore Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA), a conglomerate of different religious parties, on October 18 without the Jamat-e-Islami.

Talking to media on Tuesday, the maulana said that the JUI-F, JUI-S, JUP, Jamiat Ahle Hadis and Islami Tehreek would be the part of the MMA.
He said that JI demanded 50 seats of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the chairmanship of the MMA which caused differences.
“We have now decided to revive MMA on October 18 without Jamat-e-Islami,” Fazlur Rehman added.
