LPG rates sky high in rural areas of capital

LPG rates sky high in the rural areas of Islamabad told by residents here on Saturday. As per details, LPG is being sold at Rs.140 per kilogram in the rural areas of Islamabad and Rs.50 per kilogram is the record increase in price of LPG gas for last three months. Residents told that many villages of 12 Union Councils of Islamabad are deprive of Sui gas facility and LPG gas is being used as fuel in the area and LPG gas price has been increased with the start of winter every year and purchasing of LPG gas become out of the reach of poor residents. Residents staged protest against responsible persons and demanded from the concerned authority to take notice.
