ISLAMABAD - Islamabad police have chalked out a comprehensive traffic plan for Eidul Fitr. According to the plan, additional Traffic police would be deployed around big shopping center till Eid and outside the big Markets.
A SP, 3 DSP, 50 SI, ASI and 35 head Constables would perform extra duty outside the big markets of posh areas while 10 motorcycles and 12 vehicles would also be used for this purpose.
Senior Traffic police officer said that the duties would start at 8.30 pm and would end at Sahri Time. In order to ensure smooth traffic around the city every DSP would be responsible for his duty in his own zone while Inspector ring officer would be deployed outside the markets. 100 traffic police volunteers have also been sought in this regard.
On the direction of Inspector General police Binyamin, the implementation of the security plan would be supervised by Doctor Moeen Masood.
