RAWALPINDI – Tehsil Municipal Authority (TMA) Rawal Town, in an operation against illegal signboards and banners in the city, have taken down 60 boards and cases were registered against five organisations. Under the supervision of Town Officer (Regulation), Malik Touseef, anti-encroachment wing personnel conducted operation and tore down illegally erected boards and banners on Benazir Bhutto Road, Commercial Market and others bazaars of the city.
Three trucks of construction material were also confiscated in the anti-encroachment drive in the area of Ganj Mandi, Bara Bazaar, Iqbal Road and Bohar Bazaar. Touseef has said that indiscriminate drive against encroachers would continue.
