Court orders shifting of girls to Darul Amaan

DERA GHAZI KHAN - Judicial Magistrate Jehanzaib Aman Hafeez granted four days physical in Fort Minro gang rape case and asked the Border Levies Force (BLF) officials to produce the accused in the court on June 15.Meanwhile, District and Sessions Judge Rana Mohammad Yousuf ordered the administration to shift the rape victims to Daraul Aman and adjourned the hearings till Tuesday (today) when the court will take an application, seeking handing over the girls to their families.On Monday, the BLF produced three accused namely Mohammad Zaffar, Amjad Ali and Naveed Ahmed and sought their 14 days physical remand. However, the court granted remand till June 15.In another application filed by the families of the rape victims, District and Sessions Judge Rana Mohammad Yousuf ordered for the verification of the relation among the victims and the families, demanding their handing over. The applications were filed by the families through Sardar Behram Khan Buzdar, requesting that the women should be handed over to them as they were the actual heirs.The court ordered the BLF Commandant to verify the relation whether or not the applicants were legal heirs of the girls.
