Burnt transformer annoys citizens

RAWALPINDI  - Residents have demanded repair or replacement of a burnt transformer of Iesco circle Rawalpindi, Jhanda Chichi sub-division.

The transformer is not working for the last two months and we have made repeated verbal and written requests to the concerned line superintendent and sub-divisional officer but our all complaints are lying unattended, said a group of residents.
The transformer was burnt two moths earlier due to which electricity is supplied only for two hours to us daily, said Akbar Ali, a teacher.
Instead of paying any heed to our complaints, the load of burnt transformer has been shifted illegally to the tube-well transformer of the cant board, said Akmal Ali, a trader. The residents demanded immediate replacement of the burnt transformer otherwise they will be forced not to pay the electricity bills.
