RAWALPINDI – Resident of Rahimabad have expressed strong protest against closure of Bhutto Park in the area.
Children of the have been deprived of recreational facilities due to the closure of the parks and the authorities concerned including Cantonment Board still have not taken any step for the restoration of the park, said residents of the area.
All the garbage was dumped in the park during the construction of overhead bridge and area of the park became congested following extension of the road but the authorities has yet to restore the park to its original shape.
The park provided not only playing facilities to children’s but the residents of the area also visited the park, they stated.
They demanded of government to take notice and to carry out arrangements for the renovation of the park.
