Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry  said on Thursday that it is a duty of judge to dispense the justice in accordance with law and constitution without fear or favour.

This he said while talking to the ladies judicial officers from all over the country , which called on him in his chamber.
Chief Justice said that institution of judiciary has come under lime light due to effective performance. The hard work, dedication and impartial dispensation of justice enhanced confidence of public in judiciary and consequently more and more litigants are approaching the courts for redressal of grievances and resolution of their disputes. so, it is the duty of judiciary to come up to the expectations to provide speedy justice to litigants at their door steps.
The delegation informed  CJP that they are fully conversant with their duties and responsibilities.
The delegation also apprised CJP that due to National Judicial Policy litigants are getting prompt justice. The bars are also fully cooperative and provide proper legal assistance in the process of dispensation of justice.
