Books have been written on Sharif’s money laundering: Malik

Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry should take suo motu notice over the statement made against Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani in connection with the contempt case verdict.

He was addressing a press conference on Monday. Malik said that Shahbaz Sharif should remain a chief minister instead of being an emperor.
Malik said that Sharif brothers had been involved in money laundering. He said that books had also been written on Sharif’s money laundering.
Rehman Malik has advised PML-N Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif not to try to become a judge and remain a politician.
He asked the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo motu notice of Mian Nawaz Sharif's statements.
He said Prime Minister's case is still before the court and he has not been declared disqualified‚ therefore PML-N Chief should not try to mislead the nation and wait for five years.
He said till the decision of appeal‚ the Prime Minister will continue to hold office.
