Malala’s condition stable, making steady and satisfactory progress: ISPR

Doctors attending Malala Yousufzai say that here condition is stable and she is making steady and satisfactory progress.

The DG ISPR said that ventilator was put off from her for some time and positive results were seen but then she was kept again on the ventilator.
“Short trial of weaning off from ventilators was driven which was succesfull. Later, she was reconnected to the ventilator to avoid patient fatigue” he said.
He said possibilities of  her transfer overseas are still being considered.
He said as a contingency Pakistan has arranged a specially equipped air ambulance with the UAE which will be used if decision to shift her abroad is taken by the board of doctors.
Meanwhile Doctors have termed the CT scan and other medical reports of Malala Yousafzai as satisfactory.
