ECP refers degrees of 9 more parliamentarians to HEC for verification

Elec tion Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has sent degrees of more 9 parliamentarians to Higher Education Commission (HEC) for verification while minister for labor and manpower Khurshid Ahmad Shah has not filed his educational certificates so far. HEC sources told degrees of 22 members of parliament and provincial assemblies have been again sought through ECP as the degrees provided by these legislators earlier were not readable. 9 among these parliamentarians have sent their degrees so far including 4 from national assembly and 3 from Balochistan assembly. Minister for labor and manpower Syed Khurshid Shah has not filed his degrees and certificates so far. Proceedings will start formally against parliamentarians holding fake degrees in the joint meeting of representatives of HEC, ECP and universities within a few days and such legislators will have to appear before the committee comprising representatives of these institutions on this count.
