RAWALPINDI – Declaring creation of Pakistan a miracle, renowned worker of Pakistan Movement and President Sir Syed Memorial Society, Brig (Retd) Iqbal Shafi has said that Pakistan came into being on the name of Islam and its security and development should be an important component of our faith and belief.

He made these remarks while addressing children of ‘Apna Ghar’, at Anjuman Faizul Islam, Faizabad after flag hoisting ceremony here. President of Anjuman, Mian Muhammad Siddique Akbar, Senior Vice Presidents, Prof. Aziz Ahmed Hashmi, Dr. M. D. Khan, Eng. Abdul Razzaq, General Secretary, Raja Fateh Khan and others were present.
Brig Iqbal Shafi, who has distinction of meeting Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah at Aligarh mentioned about the great objectives of Pakistan Movement and creation of Pakistan and said this struggle was still going on to achieve the ultimate goal of the independence.
He stressed upon the new generation to follow the teachings of Sir Syed, Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Mian Siddique Akbar said that Pakistan had a bright future and this country would remain present at this globe forever.
He said that the Anjuman Faiz ul Islam was striving hard for character building of the students and added, poor and orphan children belonging to all parts of the country were being provided free shelter, food and education here. At the end, Dr. M.D. Khan offered ‘dua’ for solidarity and development of Pakistan as well as the entire Muslim Ummah. Students of the Anjuman enthralled the audience with national songs during the ceremony.
