SC overrules judges appointment committee decision

The
Supreme Court has overruled the decision of parliamentary committee for appointment of judges in which the committee denied extensions to four additional judges of the Lahore High Court on Thursday. A two member SC bench heard the petition filed against the parliamentary committee decision. Makhdoom Ali Khan, the lawyer of petitioners, said that the parliamentary committee could not reject the name without solid grounds.
