Commissioner Rawalpindi Division, Imdad Ullah Bosal was informed in this regard by DG Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Chaudhry Naseer Ahmed the other day.
The commissioner was on a visit to Mareer Chowk where the MD RDA briefed him about the project.
Naseer said that meeting would be held in this week to award the project and the Railways, WAPDA, PTCL etc. had been paid to transfer the utility services.
After the completion of the project, problem of the gridlocks on the chowk would be resolved to a great extent, he said, adding that Mareer Chowk Railway Bridge would be redesigned in the project.
Two railway bridges would be erected under the project in stages, the MD RDA said.
