RAWALPINDI  - DCO Rawalpindi, Saqib Zafar has said that closing timings for marriage halls fixed by the Chief Minister Punjab, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, i.e. 10:00 pm, would be strictly observed by the marriage halls managements.
He said this while presiding over a meeting in his office. ADC (R)/Administrator Potohar Town, Talat Mehmud Gondal, ADC (G)/Administrator Rawal Town, Saif Anwar Jappah, TMO Rawal Town, Wasiq Ullah Qureshi, TMO Potohar Town, Malik Mumtaz Ahmed and other TMOs of the district also attend the meeting.
The DCO said keeping in view the load-management; the ornamental lights would be switched off by the closing time. All TMOs should carry out inspections to ensure that timing is being observed.
He said that it has been observed that some marriage halls managements were violating the instructions given by the government and such violations would not be tolerated at any cost.
The managements would be given notices at the first stage and after that, FIRs would be lodged against the management and the parents of the brides and bridegrooms. All TMOs should ensure the timings given by the government. The marriage halls managements observing timings would be appreciated in this connection and others should follow them otherwise action would be taken without any compromise and pressure, he added.
