ISLAMABAD - Deputy Commissioner, Islamabad, has issued the security and price fixation order for the Ramazan Sasta Bazaar being set up at Sector G-7, near Luqman Hakim Road, opposite Khyber Plaza.

According to a notification issued here on Tuesday, officials of attached departments of ICTA have been assigned special duties at the bazaar. Assistant Director Food, ICT, would be responsible for fixation of prices for the G-7 Sasta Bazaar that would be lower than in the weekly bazaars and market and would ensure quality of food items at the bazaar.
He would also maintain a complaint register at the bazaar and would ensure quick action on the complaints of consumers and redressal of their grievances on the spot.
Assistant commissioner and magistrate concerned would also conduct price checking at the bazaar. A control room is also being set up at the bazaar.
According to the administration, the Assistant Commissioner (City) would supervise the on duty staff and security at the bazaar. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Islamabad would be over all in-charge. A walk through gate would be installed at the entrance of bazaar.
The SSP Islamabad would ensure effective security and he would ensure smooth flow of traffic at the bazaar. The Special Branch would ensure surveillance in the bazaar. Civil Defence would deploy five volunteers during daytime and two volunteers during night at the bazaar.
