RAWALPINDI - The incidents of crimes in the city witnessed a sharp increase despite tall claims of strict security arrangements made by police to curb the crime rate. Citizens complained that car theft, robberies and other crimes, causing losses worth millions, have become a routine in the city, adding that police have not been able to trace out the criminals in most of the cases. The city has witnessed alarming increase in the car theft, robberies, and pick pocketing.
