Zardari, Nawaz reiterate resolve to continue supporting principles aimed at promoting democracy

Pres
ident Asif Ali Zardari and PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif have held one on one meeting before signing ceremony in respect of 18th amendment bill and both the leaders have reiterated resolve to continue to support principles aimed at promoting democracy.
Mian Nawaz Sharif held out assurance to President Asif Ali Zardari that he will not support any undemocratic step.
After one to one meeting, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif, ANP leader Asfandyar Wali and MQM convener Farooq Sattar also joined the meeting.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Mian Nawaz Sharif exchanged views on the matters related to strengthening the democratic order and working relationship between PPP and PML-N.
