RAWALPINDI  - Rawalpindi police, in its crackdowns against anti-social elements on Wednesday, arrested 17 outlaws including seven gamblers and recovered 515-gram charas, 47 bottles of liquor, a pistol 30 bore with two rounds, a revolver 32-bore with three rounds and one dagger.
The police arrested Munawar, Yasir, Shan, Abid, Imran, Farhan, Sajjad, Dilshad, Zohaib, Yasir and Aamir on recovery of drugs, liquor and illegal weapons.
Meanwhile, Waris Khan police, acting-on a tip off, raided a gambling den in Mohallah Fazalabad and nabbed Mushtaq, Iftikhar, Naeem, Riaz, Khurram, Yasir and Shabbir for their alleged involvement in gambling and recovered cash Rs 26250 stake money with six mobile phones and other gadgets.
