RAWALPINDI – The residents demanded for provision of basic amenities like healthcare, education and portable water to Kirpa village situated in the suburb area of Rawalpindi.
The residents of the village demanded this in the meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of Numberdar Raja Jahangir Kayani on Thursday.
The participants also demanded for fulfilling all the pledges made by the political leadership during last elections by saying that they would vote in the next general polls to those candidates who would resolve their problems.
The meeting said that during atomic age, the residents of Kirpa are facing severe difficulties and asked for giving attention to solve all problems of the backward area.
While speaking to the members of the delegation, Raja Jahangir Kiyani said that the residents of the village had constructed school and dispensary on self help basis but no staff was appointed in both the facilities resulting depriving the people from health and education.
He said that the MNA Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had announced grant of Rs 0.52 million for the construction of road to Kirpa but the residents are still waiting for the transport facility.
