Police remain unmoved to recover missing woman

RAWALPINDI – The city police is reluctant to receive an application from a poor man, whose wife had got missed some four months back.
A poor man namely Muhammad Aslam son of Faqeer Muhammad, hails from Dheri Hassanabad and painter by profession, told TheNation on Thursday that his wife Khalida Perveen had got missed on 7/6/2012 and was still not found.
He said that he has been running from pillar to post to get an application filed with the Police Chowky Tariqabad, controlled by Police Station (PS) Civil Lines but the police officials were not receiving it. He alleged that the incharge of the police chowky threatened him for filing a case against him if he forced him to pen in the case of his wife.
Muhammad Aslam appealed to City Police Officer (CPO) Azhar Hameed Khokher to take notice of the issue and provide of with justice. The mobile phone of Station House Officer (SHO) PS Civil Line was stitched off when contacted for his point of view on the issue.
