President can’t use executive powers: Babar Awan

The disgruntled leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Babar Awan on Wednesday said that being the President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari could not use the executive powers in the country. Speaking to media persons outside the Supreme Court’s building, Babar Awan said with the removal of Yousaf Raza Gilani as prime minister of Pakistan, temporary constitutional gap was created in the country which could harm interests of the country both on internal and external level. Babar Awan said that Asif Ali Zardari is the president but he could no exercise executive powers.
