Iesco takes steps to conserve energy

ISLAMABAD – The Executive Officer IESCO has issued instructions for energy conservation in IESCO Offices under the directives of federal government.
According to the instructions usage of electric heater in all the IESCO Offices has been banned during the forthcoming winter season.
Apart from this, IESCO has taken several steps to save energy in IESCO offices, including stoppage of extra lights, fans and air conditioners. It is also instructed to use maximum daylight through open windows to save energy.
It is pertinent to mention here that these steps are being taken due to the electricity shortfall in the country and for energy conservation.
The CEO IESCO has also directed all offices under IESCO to take all possible measures for energy conservation.
