NDU produces first PhD student



ISLAMABAD - The National Defense University has successfully produced its first ever PhD student on Thursday.
Azhar Hussain Shah presented his research contribution (technically calls-public defense) before a highly diversified and qualified audience and awarded the title of doctor of philosophy at the end of presentation. The research highlighted the importance of anti-money laundering regimes and its impacts on Pakistan’s financial sector.
Eminent university staff included the controller of exams, registrar, dean and other facility members were also present on the occasion.
The two external evaluators appreciated the candidate on producing such a unique work of research. The participants congratulated Azhar Shah for becoming the doctor of philosophy and appreciated Bashir Hussain Shah who supervised and helped NDU to produce its first ever PhD.
