Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Tuesday telephoned Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and thanked Pakistan for hosting trilateral summit of Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan. The Afghan president said his meetings with Pakistani politicians remained productive. Karzai also took Pakistani prime minister into confidence over his telephonic talk with US President Barack Obama following the trilateral talk. Both the leaders also discussed ongoing peace process in war-torn Afghanistan.
