ISLAMABAD - The Election Commission is scrutinising the nomination papers of candidates for Senate elections.

This process would continue till February 23. The list of selected and rejected candidates would be displayed on Friday.
Earlier, 166 candidates from all the four provinces, FATA and Federal Capital had filed nomination papers for Senate polls scheduled on March 2. Eighteen nominations have already been rejected while 12 candidates from Punjab have been elected unopposed.
