 Stray dogs play havoc in Sadiqabad





RAWALPINDI  - Dog biting incidents are on the rise in Sadiqabad, sparking harassment in the residents of area.
“This area is flooded with stray dogs and particularly the lonely market of this vicinity is wide ranging shelter for these dogs. No one can even move freely in the market. We can not visit the bazaar even in broad day light as we don’t want to become victim to the hounding stray dogs”, a group of residents said.
Meanwhile, the local administration failed to take measure in this regard  resultantly entire area  turned into stray dogs’ regime and residents are left at the mercy of these dogs. “We have to pass through the market to proceed to school but we can not do so because the stray dogs block our way.
 Daily one of our class fellows becomes victim to dog bite and he has to be taken to hospital for vaccinations.
How long this situation will prevail, questioned a student of class 9th. Are we not children of this nation that we are rendered vulnerable to the dog biting, said Zahid a student of class 9th.
Residents have demanded of the concerned authorities to launch operation to cleanse the area from stray dogs.
