ISLAMABAD  – Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Tariq Pirzada on Saturday said that Turkey is playing vital role in the development of Pakistan though multiple initiatives.  
We are tied in deep bond of brotherhood; our extensive cultural, commercial and strategic cooperation will go to new heights with the passage of time, he said. Talking to media after inaugurating Third Eye Exhibition Organised by Pak-Turk International Schools and Colleges here at a local park, Tariq Pirzada said that a preferential trade agreement (PTA) between the brotherly countries would further boost our centuries-old ties.
He said that Turkey ensured its development through quality education and now it has focused on Pakistan for provision of quality and affordable education, which we see as invaluable cooperation.
Millions of Pakistanis are benefiting from selfless services offered by Turk brethren that will go a long way in our nation building moves, he said.
The Chief Commissioner said that other educational institutions should also pay special attention to social and moral education and organise such events keeping in view the importance of activity-based learning.
Earlier, Pirzada along with Chairman Pak-Turk ICE F Unal Tosur, MD Fesih Celik, Director Education Kamil Ture, Principals Ebubekir Haspolat and Ahmet Efiturk and other administrators visited all the stalls showcasing 150 projects prepared by the students.
The projects included scientific inventions, different social and moral issues, national and international disputes and their resolution, responsibilities towards our nation and many other subjects. Students explained about their projects in detail, which was appreciated.
Moreover, Turkish food pavilion and stalls exhibiting dresses attracted many visitors and parents of the students.
It is worth mentioning here that all the income generated by selling of food and dress items will be contributed towards scholarships of the needy students.
