RAWALPINDI – Snail-paced flow and mess of vehicular traffic on the Benazir Bhutto Road due to the protests and digging for the installation of pipeline of Khanpur Water Supply Project are creating trouble for the commuters.

A large number of vehicles were struck on the road, creating a gridlock and the traffic police remained busy in clearing that mess the whole day.
While, under the Khanpur Water Supply Project, the main pipeline is being laid on Railway Road from Gawalmandi to Saddar. Therefore, traffic was diverted to different alternative routes to avoid traffic block but that too created inconvenience for the commuters, as they had to travel on long routes.
