Grant released for hospital upgradation

RAWALPINDI – Grant amounting to Rs 10 million has been released to upgrade General Hospital being run under control of cantonment board Rawalpindi.

Construction work has been started following the disbursement of this grant. Labour room and new wards will be built and old machinery and equipment will be overhauled and some new equipment will be purchased.
Sheds to facilitate the visitors and attendants of the patients will also be constructed. Arrangements will also be made to ensure provision of clean drinking water.
Work in this respect has been started which is being monitored by administration of the hospital and officers of cantonment board directly to ensure its timely completion.
