ISLAMABAD - Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA) marked World Day of Social Justice in which a number of legal fraternity participated.

In a press release issued here, the President of IHCBA Syed Nayyab Hassan Gardezi said that ‘justice begins at home’ in his address to the lawyers community. He said that Islam lays stress on enforcing justice in the society without any discrimination of gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion, culture or disability. General Secretary of IHCBA Chaudhry Junaid Akhtar Chohan, while speaking on the occasion, pointed out a few major issues prevailing in the society including terrorism and extremism are due to unavailability of justice.
He appealed the media to create the awareness on social justice at the national level so that an egalitarian society could be formed throughout the country.
The IHCBA also expressed its grave concerns over Hazara killings from time to time and demanded the authorities concerned to provide proper security to them on immediate basis.
